Adult Applications

Any equine with a passport application submitted after 12 months from birth will by default be marked as a 'Duplicate'. The equine will also be signed out of the food chain due to the lack of medical records available.

It is a legal requirement to transfer the ownership of all equines purchased within 30 days of purchase. Those who do not transfer within the 30 days could face a fine of up to £5,000
